It was a day to remember for our Aussie Cyclists in Paris, with Emily Petricola coming away with gold in the women’s C4 3000m individual pursuit and Jessica Gallagher with silver in the B 1000m time trial. 🥈🥇
Reigning world champion Emily Petricola clipped more than two seconds off the world record she set in Tokyo three years ago to clock 3:35.85 and qualify for the gold medal with two-and-a-half laps remaining.
Meanwhile, it was a personal best for Jessica Gallagher who was also the first female athlete to win a medal for Australia at the Winter Games when she claimed bronze in the alpine skiing visually impaired slalom in 2010 in Vancouver.
